The APLA 2009 Conference Planning Committee is being held from June 11-13 at the Marriott Halifax Harbourfront Hotel.

The APLA conference is one of the most popular library events east of Montreal and draws a significant number of participants spanning the four Atlantic provinces and beyond. It is anticipated that approximately 300 delegates will be in attendance.

Exhibits

The Exhibits will be housed in the lovely Nova Scotia Ballroom of the Marriott Halifax Harbourfront Hotel. A detailed floor plan is now available.

The booth price is $400 and includes a table, chairs, piping and draping, electrical and wireless internet service. Double booths are available at a cost of $750. Wired internet service is available for an additional fee.

Booth Setup and IT Requirements

Global Convention Services is handling the setup of the booths, as well as the electrical for the exhibits.  The Exhibitor's Kit has been shipped out to all confirmed exhibitors and contains the necessary setup and shipping details. 

Marriott Event Technology (MET) will be handling the IT requirements on site.  Wireless networking is included with all booths and usernames and passwords will be assigned upon arrival.  Wiring will be installed before arrival for those who have paid the additional fee for wired internet.  If you have any individual IT requirements you may contact MET at
